For those of you who have been banned (I've had some friends that were), I
offer these 8 steps to getting back on.
1. Click on START>RUN. Type in regedit.
2. When regedit is open, find HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\Napster. Then click
on the napster folder. Look on the right side of the screen. Select the key
CurrentUser. Press DELETE. Click on the plus sign next to Napster on the left
side of the screen. Select every folder in the Napster folder one by one.
Every time you find CurrentUser press DELETE.
3. Now press Ctrl + f. When the search window opens, type in: 35D38C13-1434-AB7E-003483943341AA. When it finds a file, DELETE it. After you
delete it, press the F3 key. Delete the next file it finds. Continue until it
says "Search Returns No Results" or something along those lines.
4. Now press Ctrl + f again. This time type in:
A1AD8C13-1383-5343-DCC38E43FF0AAE. Now do the same thing you did in step 3.
5. Now press Ctrl + f again. This time type in:
CAD8C813-1F34-1B3E-00CEAE43FF0AAD. Do the same thing you did in step 3.
6. Restart your computer.
7. Open Napster. If you deleted all the CurrentUser keys properly it will
ask you to set up a new account. Create a new account using a UserName and
E-Mail address different than the one you used in your banned account.
8. Napster should be working properly now. If it is not, it is due to
your error.
ENJOY NAPSTER.
