I bought a cellular phone one day at a store here in D.C. called Simply Wireless. I went home the phone was activated by the sales representative. Here is a letter I sent to VoiceStream to see what they would do. Here's a log of what happened:
-1August 2002 purchased the phone at 7:57 pm, which was noted on the receipt. The sales representative activated the phone. I came home charged the phone made a few phone calls to CA.
-The next day 2 August 2002, I dialed *EASY which is used to check the Account Balance of the prepaid wireless phone. The balance was around $25.
-Then I dialed *EASY again and noticed my account balance start going down. I called the VoiceStream Customer Care number at 1-800-937-8997. The Customer Care Representative gave me $2 credit to my account.
-Called back got nonsense from the customer rep which was Abdul his representative number was 30148.
-Than I noticed the balance was $23.10 when I dialed *EASY after calling it went down to $22.30 it was about 09:54 pm on Sat August 3, 2002. They took .80 for just making a phone call to *611. Afterwards, balance was $21.10. When I spoke to the Representative at the customer care, at 1-800-937-8997 Representative number:1064300 gave me the credit of $23.10.
-On Sun August 4, 2002 I called VoiceStream Customer Care again because my account balance on my prepaid phone was going down again. Rose, Representative#:1635092 gave me $2 back to my account. Making balance $24.30
-My Prepaid phone was activated on August 1, 2002 according to what was written on the box VoiceStream said my phone was active for 2 Months, but when I called the Customer Number, which is 1-800-937-8997. The phone was only active until September 30, 2002 but it was suppose to be until October 1, 2002.
-When I placed a call to CA, *EASY before call BAL: $24.30, call was 4 minutes 9 seconds, after call balance was $21.90, came out to .48/min. When in fact it was suppose to be .40/ min. They took .48/min. When you take $24.30 – $21.90 it is $2.40. Which makes it wrong because in the fine print the phone call was says the seconds rounded up to the next minute. 5 minutes from divided by 2.40 is .48/min.
-Also, today I went on the Internet to check VoiceStream's rates at http://www.voicestream.com/products/services/prepay/dc_balt.asp:

-Now the $10 is .33/min, $25 is .25/min, $50 is .20/min, and $100 is .20/min. So why is voice stream saying they charge .40/min in fine print it doesn't make sense.
-Today August 5, 2002 I called VoiceStream Customer Care, I got Beverley Customer Representative number:163255 the balance was $18 it was $21.90. They took money from their customer care number which was suppose to be free according to their bourchure.
What I concluded was Voicestream was doing false advertisement and stealing minutes from my prepaid cellular service.
Hey Voice Stream stop stealing from my prepaid cellular phone give me some free minutes or free service. Which I know you guys won't so I reported you to the Better Business Beareau. Because you guys fucken bullshitted me on the phone, 0h yeah my **** but it is ****
So I'll see what happens and in the meantime, I suggest everyone get a voicestream phone and fuck them over!!! Remember their loop hole is this in the instruction manual to their current promotion of the Nokia 3390 they have 611, *611 as being a free number, or customer care but they charge for that call everytime like .40 to .80. Oh yeah they didn't repsond to me today so I sent this to an organization full of females called the better business bureau. http://www.bbb.org. FUCK VOICESTREAM oh yeah T-mobile is where I posted the question you can goto them at http://www.voicestream.com/products/ and click on contact us to send them a question. Hey I tried to tell them to fix it!
