Below, find a form letter that I urge you all to fill
out and forward this to your elected representatives
(Senators, Representatives). It concerns the Bush
plan to have the Federal government monitor the
Internet activity of all Americans, which would
include scanning our email and instant messages. For
details, read this:

If you dont know your representatives email
addresses, you can find them here:

Though, bear in mind, you might be getting new
Congresspeople next year, and should re-check and
re-write in late January.

Dear Senator/Representative ,
I am writing to object to the Internet "early warning
center" monitoring system proposed in President Bushs
forthcoming "National Strategy to Secure Cyberspace".
Of all the constitutional violations committed thus
far by the Bush adminisration in the name of
counter-terrorism, this plan to continulously
monitor the Internet activity, email, and instant
messaging of all Americans would rank among the most
heinous. If implemented, Bushs proposal would render
the Fourth Amendment null and void as far as online
communication is concerned.
While I do not know the particulars of how the
"National Strategy to Secure Cyberspace" would
eventtually be translated into U.S. law, I am asking
you to do everything in your power to prevent its
adoption, particularly in regards to Internet
monitoring.
Thank you for your time and attention,
