My so-called life on IRC

Conventional wisdom now a days says everyone needs a life. What actually constitues a life, well that is still up for debate. Most say I have no life. I spend WAAAY too much time on IRC they say. Well I have one thing to say to those who think IRC is a waste of time, and a poor subsitute for Face to Face interactions with other human beings: To Hell with you.
(Okay, they may be right , but they should go to Hades all the same.)

The greatest thing about IRC is the entities you can meet. In a world built on text you are judged and viewd at first on the basis of your nick and what you type. (Barring ofcourse, the prejudices against certain domains some people seem to have.)
First impressions are slippery ones at best on IRC. Soon you learn more about the people you talk to, exchange gifs, and eventually tell the world about them in your website. So that is what this place is for. So I can spend my time writing web pages so I cannot be accused of spending *ALL* my time on IRC ;)
