From: Lewis De Payne (lewiz@netcom.com) Subject: Magazine Wanted: 26 Hurts Newsgroups: alt.2600 Date: 1995-01-31 00:02:04 PST My friend who is very secretive told me there's a magazine called something like 26 Hurts, that is written by a radio shock-jock like Howard Stir, I think it was a Manuel Gladstone or Goldstern. Can you tell me where this magazine is about, I'm having a hard time looking for my game cartridges. Thank you... my friend said he has an account on an inernet called AOL, and he can hack it for ten ours in a row, than it stops and he has to call this free 800 numer and they send him another "hacker" disk and he makes it work for ten ours again. I wanna learn how to do that... I tried the old disks he gave me but it keeps asking for a password. Is there a way to "hacker" it? He tried SAS, but the SARTS group told him that they use Radio Shack tape recorders to get people now. I no it is dangerous and you should only do it from the 811 prefix. If he has MIZAR access, can he route to a DATAKIT if his terminal is labeled "Datakit" or "Netway", and get to the big switch? He said he is mad because it went DMSO or DMS-100 and he liked 1A and the LCC PBM for access to the internal net. Will this run on AOL if he does the V-DNSVY-TN or better yet an LHB command (it is not a DMS-100 so he doesn't have to mess with octets, which are a pain). Is there a game cartridge that will work on the old 1A? -- "Mum's the word" - Justin Petersen || cc: Kennie G.
