Mapping the IPv4 Address Space of the United Arab Emirates

This project looks at the IP space assigned to the UAE and maps out what subnets are assigned to what entity. This IPv4 space is assigned under the Ripe Registry. There are about 8 major entities covering 17 seperate IP ranges that make up the IPv4 address space of the UAE at the time of this writing (Oct 2006). I utilized a ping sweep to give me an indication of what hosts may be up. Bear in mind that a ping sweep done at different times of the day or week may produce different results. Just because an IP may be shown to be up may not actually be the case and vice versa. The purpose of the ping sweep was to give me an idea of what subnets may be more active when compared to other subnets within the same range. Also, I should point out that halfway through this mapping and that of another country's IP space I was doing at the time, I changed the format. Starting with this project I automated the process with a script, so the html tabled version will be the new format.
