2600.ORG and 2600 Magizine Refused Press Coverage of OracleWorld

   "Members of 2600's Bay Area team were refused press access indicating
   that 2600 was a new magizine and without proper credentials they
   wouldnt get coverage."

   For_Immediate_Release:

   I arrived at OracleWorld 2003 in San Francisco they said they had lost
   my  name  in their press system but issued me my Industry Analyst Pass
   and my Conference Pass. I spoke with members of the Oracle Corporation
   PR Team such as Rebeccah Hahn and another employee named Ryan.

   Ryan  did fix the mishap by pulling strings to get my pass issued they
   stated  they undertand their are sometimes problems and they would get
   me  my  badge.  At a press reception i was invited to by Oracle Public
   Relations i was discussing with other press and industry analysts what
   the  subject  of  my  article would be basically comparing oracle with
   other databases.

   Well  apparently  that  offended  some  Oracle Employee im yet to meet
   because  another lady from Oracle Public Relations came up and told me
   if i didnt get a Business Card, 4 past Articles and a letter she would
   have  me  ejected  from the conference tommorow. Well today several PR
   reps  told  me  they could no longer offer me or my organization press
   coverage and tried to state that our magizine was old. Well infact our
   magizine  has  been  around  longer  then  must  publications  such as
   ComputerWorld, LinuxWorld, The Oracle Magizine and more.

   Our  organization  simply  doesnt  hold any status we dont tote around
   business  cards we are a non-profit highly recognized by many Industry
   Leaders  and Fortune 500 companies. Yet oracle wont let us cover their
   event  even  though  i personally have covered LinuxWorld 2003, and am
   covering  Seybold365  and  SunNetwork  then travelling to San Diego to
   cover  ToorCon  all  in past month and next two months. I think Oracle
   needs todo some research and figure out who we are.
