MorthSat Technologies Develops New Product

NorthSat Technologies of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada has released a new product they have named the Card Condom.

According to engineers at NorthSat Technologies, the Card Condom device will offer the plastic test card user the ability to use a test card without the worry of it becoming 99ed during an ECM (electronic counter measure). The Card Condom

The Card Condom device is installed between a users plastic test card and the satellite receiver. The Card Condom resembles the the older battery type test device in its design and will protect any type of plastic "H" test card, regardless of the type of software used in the test card.

In the event of data stream modifications to disable the protection of the Card Condom device, North Sat's engineers claim that the card condom is totally field reprogrammable by simply using an old battery card programer, PC. computer, and a new data file that will be suppled to Card Condom owners by NorthSat Technologies.

Howdy All

Well it has been a busy month here at the Satellite Watch News. Here is what has been happening. There is rumor of a VCII plus hack.

The VCII Plus module is housed in a blue plastic cage and has a unit ID that begins with 029-XXXX. Our reporter has been aggressively chat-ting with the company involved and is awaiting a sample of the Plus test device for further evaluation. Due to the test device provider being out of town the week prior to press time, and the devices programmer being ill with kidney stones, our reporter was unable to complete his test and evaluation of this new VCII Plus test device.

We have added a second Web Site for the Satellite Watch News. The address for this site is www.freeyellow.com/members2/swn.

At this new site you can subscribe or renew your subscription on-line, plus order any of the many products that we sell through the publication, such as schematics ,videos, ect.

The Microbroadcaster, by Doc

Good March everyone,

Yes time does fly, does it not? Here I am doing yet another contribution for the News. We have what may seem to be a bit of sunshine but, as you read it and get out some of my past thoughts, we see a interesting idea in the form of proposed rule making. Low power FM and AM (gee) from a larger broadcasting group with holdings right here in Michigan. I find it interesting that a small concession is made (or might be made) for a jurisdiction that is not even in the "Federal" venue.

This is a State issue. So what do "we" do? This final question will have to be answered by each one of you out there. The choice is really simple. Go the legal way of challenging venue as Reverend Strawcutter is doing and others.

This will risk, of course, the wrath of an out of control Multi-jurisdictional Task Force which will have all of you "out equipped" and much nastier than you can ever imagine in the form of "sealed" (and usually unsigned) search warrants to unskilled morlocks taking down towers and dropping them in the neighbors front room (oopsie) with nothing more than a belch from too many french fries; to going out and taking donations and putting one of your own (Federally licensed)

For my "money" this my be considered by some to be a start, I look at it as a clear diversion because, I believe that the low power idea as stated in my stuff is just about to be backed up by a Federal court decision. So as they say pay your money and take your choice. These are very unusual times and require a singleness of purpose.

Some thoughts however are this. In the comment time which is getting short ask for higher power with more antenna height. Also if there are other groups asking for space, take into consideration the format.

I for one have had enough of all the oldies stations with used car ads and how to trim my dog's toe nails. This REPUBLIC is in trouble just look at the recent town meeting at my school, Ohio State University. Lots of REAL PEOPLE, really unhappy over this mess in the Gulf. Why are stations, when they receive a four share of the market with 12 watts of good information, seriously missed when it took away some REVENUE from the Oldies station? Could it be that people know something is wrong and they might want to find out what all this is about?

Well I leave you now with those thoughts and a fond adieu. I am moving on the other things and will from time to time be back with other ideas and mental gymnastics.

It has been fun and if you wish please feel free to email me docazoid@i-star.com and I shall endeavor to give you a direction and some constructive energies. It has been fun but off to another venue for Zoid 73

all the best
