I think, UA is a good movie, because it covers all about hacking in
a way i know it and so i can say that this movie is quite realistic.
I saw this movie at the 1995 ccc congress in germany/hamburg
I saw your recent screening of Unauthorized Access around the corner from my house;
it was coincidental that I found out about the showing on the same day...
Anyway, I think I mentioned that I was at HOPE in NYC in 1994. I just want you to know that
after seeing that British filmmaker who came out with "Hackers", I thought all was lost and that
what this community really is about had been hopelessly commercialized. BUT, seeing your movie
made me feel better about any of the dollars I spent on entertainment related to "hack" culture this year. That's why
I also bought your videotape of UA.

Sounds interesting. Price is right. When you say "NTSC" do you mean VHS tape?
I'd hate to order it and then receive a 3/4 inch tape or some such...
How do I get a vhs copy? Also, do you know of any books or other

This looks quite promising. I am a doctoral researcher at the University of Cambridge, studying criminology, and have been looking for some source material on hacking and hackers that gets away from the old "Wargames" images and away from the traditional criminological (read: dull) literature on computer security issues. So thank you very much for this oasis. If you have any ideas for individuals that might be contactable and willing to talk about their hacking experiences (quite anonymously, of course) could you please drop a note at my email address? It's a very good tape. Should be a bit longer, i guess. But it does
a very good picture of the hacker movement. Was it longer, perhaps
it would became a little technical, but i found it very interesting.
