Other Wild Cards

In addition to the dollar sign wild card, there are two other specific wild cards:

?

matches any single digit (0-9 a-Z * # _) numeric, alpha, and some symbols

+

(multi-digit indicator by itself) matches 0 or more digits.

For example:

???

matches any 3 digit address

3???

a 4 digit address that begins with a 3

3+

any address that begins with a 3 and more or no more digits

+2

any address that ends with 2

?+

any address with at least 1 digit

??+ or +??

matches any 2 or more digit address

4+2?

any three or more digit address that begins with a 4 and has 2 as the second digit from the end.
