FT-Connect - notes dated 15th April 1996 - for using the new France Telecom Internet number giving access at local rates throught France.

This is to record the way to access the Internet via a "France Telecom" Microsoft Dial-Up-Networking connection.

Setup the connection in the normal way but set it to dial the new FT-Connect number:

(36 01 14 14)

When the connection is made a Terminal Window (previously selected as an option) will appear with nothing in it.

Type "TKM" and press "Enter"

There will then appear the word "Ser?" This means "What service?"

Answer this question by typing in 196282595 and press "Enter".

2 words appear which look like Dutch. Click "continue".

The computer will then connect to CompuServe using the normal "script" called "Cis.scp".

If you have the skill to automate all this into a revised "script" please let me have a copy on 100621,2564. Thanks!
