Expnad Reception Range

Procedure:

1. Remove battery and antenna.
2. Remove case attach screws to open unit.  2 screws located
   on back of case and four screws on battery clip.
3. Remove dial, volume and squelch buttons.  Remove retaining 
   rings.
4. Remove top cover of unit and open unit.
5. Locate and cut YELLOW wire behind the battery release button.
6. Re-assemble in reverse order.
7. Reset microprocessor by holding down the "f" key and turning power on.
