I posted a finding about the DR112 the other day. I had the front
off to fix one of the press buttons and in checking the others I failed
to notice an extra 'reset' button next the mic plug. The readout
flashed EVEN THO THE POWER WAS OFF. On power up the VFO was now in
the 220-224 range. No use to me - we don't have that band.

I don't know if it transmitted, even. I just pressed the reset with
the power on and had 2m back. Then I had to reset all the paramaters
I was used to. I notice it scans better, for some curious reason.

I have never seen this mod described elsewhere. eg on oak.oakland.edu
in the /pub3/hamradio/mods/alinco directory if you can ftp.
