Here's a useful mod for the Icom IC-24AT, the new mini dualbander.
    
    1.  Remove D13 on the main board. *
    
    2.  Reset the CPU.
    
    Voila! The frequency range of the handie-talkie is now
    75-195 MHz, 200-490 MHz, and 740-960 MHz.
    
    * NOTE: This may void the warranty. Make sure you treat the radio as if
            it were CMOS, ie NO STATIC CHARGES.
