If any one is having trouble getting the KPC-2 or the KAM to work on an
RS-232S port it may be because the DCD line is not showing true.
To get it to show true strap pins 4,6, and 8 on the computer end of the
DB-25 connector.  This should make the DCD line show true.

Or just set the KPC2 to Xon/Xoff mode if you don't want to make the above mod
permanent.  Then I only use lines 1,2,3,7 of the RS232.   WA2ISE
