SUBJECT: CLOCK AND DISPLAY FAILURE

      Failure of the display may be caused by an intermittent via-
      hole (through-hole without a lead) in the microprocessor
      clock circuit. Hard-wiring the holes will cure this problem.
      
      On the Control unit X53-1180-xx, hard-wire the two via-holes
      near Q22 and R35.
