MODEL: DSP-100
SUBJECT: 6 PIN CABLE - CHANGE OF PLUG TYPE

Difficulty might be encountered when connecting early versions of the 
DSP-100 to a TS-450S or TS-690S transceiver. No problems have been 
encountered with the TS850S and the DSP-100. The length of the connector 
on the radio side of the cable might not be sufficient to ensure proper 
connection when connected to the TS-450 series. The connector has been 
changed on later versions of the DSP-100 to provide proper contact with 
these transceivers. The accompanying illustration shows the basic difference 
between the two cable assemblies. No problem should be encountered when 
using the new cable with any DSP-100 capable transceiver.
