This is caused by excessive response in the AGC loop circuit. Countermeasures: The changes detailed below will add additional delay to the AGC circuit and reduce or eliminate this tendency. Add the 0.47 uF Cap across C43. Caution: This modification requires advanced sufface mount soldering equipment that is rated for CMOS circuits.
