My radio (TM 942A) did NOT come as pictured below,
chip resistor 8 was already moved down.  I tried shorting
the upper pad pair above resistor 8 but it did nothing.  I
moved the short to the lower pad pair below resistor 7,
this worked!!

I don't remember the location of the other resistors.  If 
there is any interest I'll double check and write something
up.
