Tricks for the Uniden-built/RS Pro-26 Scanner

SFT Arrow (while radio's already on): to use arrows in Manual mode to change
channels up or down
 
Hold the following buttons down while turning on scanner:
 
AUTO: enables/disables 100cps scan rate (enables/disables Auto Sorting)
 
DELAY: toggles between 2 and 4 sec delay
 
KL: turns Beep on or off
 
2,9: erases memories
 
2,9 SFT checks all elements of display WITHOUT erasing memories
 
2,9 KL displays firmware version (ie 6b4H  USA 1.00) WITHOUT erasing memories
 
2,9 MAN or 2,9 MON or 2,9 CLR or 2,9 PGM loads one set of test freqs into
channels 1-18.
 
2,9 MAN or 2,9 MON loads in 53-53.3MHz into the Limit Search
 
2,9 CLR loads in 511.5-511.9875 & 517.75MHz into the Limit Search
 
2,9 PGM loads in 173-173.3MHz into the Limit Search
 
2,9 AUTO or 2,9 L/O loads in a second set of test freqs into channels 1-14
and channels 21-30, while locking out channels 31-40. Both limits of the
Limit Search are 529.75MHz.
