portmap(8)
Systems Affected: SunOS 4.1.x, IRIX. Not a problem on Solaris because all uids are 32 bits.
Problem: NSF server in which a client presents a 32-bit uid in which the low-order bits are 0 gets interpreted as root on the server with 16-nit uid. Any use with a 32 bit uid can read/write root owned files.
Solution: For SunOS apply patch 1095935
