Crypto iButton™ Evaluation License Application
Before the Crypto iButton™ can be issued, you must do the following:
- Read the Export Notice statement below and agree to its terms.
- Verify that you are not on the U.S. Treasury Department's list of Specially Designated Nationals (http://www.fedworld.gov/pub/tel/t11sdn.pdf) or the U.S. Commerce Department's Table of Denial Orders (http://www.bxa.doc.gov/DPL/2_denial.htm).
- Complete the questionnaire and license acceptance below, verifying your name, address, email, citizenship, and point of receipt.
If you are not a United States or Canadian citizen, we will send you an email with the conditions which must be met before the Crypto iButton can be issued. All applications for Crypto iButtons are subject to approval by Dallas Semiconductor.
Export Notice
Notice: The Crypto iButton with Java™ VM model 16, release 1.0; the Java-Powered Decoder Ring, release 1.0; and Crypto the iButton with Dallas O/S model 16, release 1.2 include cryptographic technology subject to export controls under the Export Administration Act of the U.S. Commerce Department, Bureau of Export Administration, 50 U.S.C. section 2401 et. seq. Anyone receiving the Crypto iButton cannot export it without an additional license, which must be applied for separately from the Department of Commerce.
Questionnaire to Comply with U.S. Government Regulations
- Do you agree that the Crypto iButton is subject to export controls under the U.S. Export Administration Act, 50 U.S.C. section 2401 et seq., and that you cannot export, re-export, or otherwise transfer the Crypto iButton from the United States or Canada without a separate license issued by the Department of Commerce?
- Do you represent and warrant that you are: (i) 18 years or older; (ii) that neither the U.S. Commerce Department nor any other U.S. federal agency has suspended, revoked, or denied your U.S. export privileges, and (iii) that you are not on the U.S. Treasury Department's list of Specially Designated Nationals or the U.S. Commerce Department's Table of Denial Orders?
- Are you a citizen or national of the United States or Canada, or a person who has been lawfully admitted for permanent residence in the United States or Canada?

This license agreement is a legally binding agreement. By clicking the "AGREE" button below, you are confirming that the answers you submit are true and correct, and any omission will not materially mislead Dallas Semiconductor.
