You mentioned in "Intel Bitties" that you suspected that the X-Files' "Agent Dana Scully" might have been named after Frank Scully (so did I, at first), but in an interview, Chris Carter (show's creator), he said that the actual person was Vin Scully, his favorite sportscaster.
