From: tmahood@netcom.com (Tom Mahood) Posted To: alt.conspiracy.area51 Subject: The Bob and Gene show Date: Mon, 25 Dec 1995 04:27:02 GMT Did I ever get a neat present for Christmas: A tape of Bob Lazar and Gene Huff's radio show from 12/22, with the ever loony John Lear as guest! I must say I was quite surprised. In contrast to Gene's, well shall we say sarcastic, net persona, he came across as quite witty, articulate and charming. As much as saying nice things about Gene makes me squirm, it gets even worse. The Great Bob was truly amazing. Quite funny, irreverant, and weirdest of all, SKEPTICAL! I loved it! Of course with someone as off the scales as Lear, it's easy to appear grounded. Nevertheless, B&G were most fine. I LIKED these guys (Oooooh...did I REALLY say that??!!) They really let Lear hang himself. I'm fairly satisfied that Lear is quite the loon, pleasant, but definitely a loon. I give their show two big thumbs up, not to be confused with two middle fingers. I am quite disappointed the show only is available in the Las Vegas area. I can only hope syndication is in the future. In the meantime I guess I'll have to use my wily charms to get more tapes... Tom
