BOOM!

Werd. It's been about fifty years since we flattened Hiroshima and Nagasaki, and unsurprisingly enough all the whiny types have surfaced to complain about the two bombs which ended the war and prevented hundreds of thousands of casualties. I rarely get political on this page, but think of how unhappy you'd be if all of your ancestors got killed invading Japan. I'd be upset! (Dead but upset!) Anyway, we're all here - so be thankful. I have a number of relatives who likely would have been sent to that giant breakwater some call Japan who were spared due to the bomb, and the plane that bore it, the Enola Gay. You probably do too. Think about that the next time you hear someone griping about the Manhattan Project. Look in the mirror. Smile.
