LANicide Version 1.0

LANicide is a TSR IPX message sender for Novell NetWare LANs ABOVE version
2.0a. LANicide is a DOS application and will not work in GUIs. It does
crash Windows nicely though.

To run type "lanicide" at the prompt to load the TSR. All error messages
are self explanitory. If you are not logged on, it will still load
but your user name that it detects will be a null string. Not good.
After it is loaded hit ALT + F11 to activate the TSR. From the menu
you can send a message, crash someone's computer, uncrash it, reboot it,
and activate protection that prevents your computer from being rebooted
or crashed. The other workstation that you wish to affect MUST also
have LANicide running. In the dialog box that asks, "To Whom?" type in
the person's user ID that you wish to affect.

I am limmited in my experience with TSRs so there is most likely some
bugs. If you would like to offer an improvement or and optimization
please give me an e-mail. I would love to improve this to the place
where it is fail safe. So if your computer crashes during that major
test program you are writing, it ain't my fault.

To clarify, the crasher works as follows. You give the command to crash
someones computer and if their computer is not protected then the keyboard
interrupt will be changed to a new one. Once a key is pressed, a message
will begin to flash. Another user of LANicide must then uncrash that
persons computer at witch time that persons computer will become usable
again.

One future improvement is that this program detects your user ID at
execution of the program lanicide.exe. So if you loggout and loggin
as somebody else you will still recieve messages and other things as if
your user ID had not changed. To unload, reboot. Sorry.

If you have any questions, complments, complains please e-mail me:
