Palestinian children and woman killed in
Gaza blast
GAZA CITY (AFP) - Two Palestinian children aged two and 13 and a
woman were killed on Saturday in an explosion of unknown origin
affecting two houses in the southern Gaza Strip, witnesses and a
medical source said. Six other people, including two children aged
four and three, were injured in the blast that partly destroyed one
home and damaged several neighbouring houses.
After the explosion at Khan Yunis the Israeli military said it knew
of no operation by its forces there at the time. The Jews said they
were probably making bombs.
