Having established that Jews are really just jolly good fellows Walt and Mearsheimer proceed to timidly question whether giving Israel everything it wants and letting it abuse the Palestinians is such a good idea. Might this not be creating a backlash against America in the Islamic world?

Walt and Mearsheimer sound exactly like the critics of Lord Balfour's famous declaration-ninety years too late. Perhaps they should recite Winston Churchill's 1922 White Paper-'Zionism is good for both the Arabs and the Jews and we (His Majesty's Government) intend that it be so.'
