2 arrested in stabbing of homeless man
Police arrested two men believed to be responsible for the brutal
beating and stabbing of a 42 yr old homeless man, Walter Ford.
They did the crime for "no apparent reason."

Cascio and Horne were traveling in the area in a new Ford Mustang
when they stopped after seeing the homeless man on the side of the
road, police said.

Even Police Were Shocked
Maj. Don Bartley, head of investigations, said detectives
believe the beating and stabbing occurred for no apparent reason,
these two men exited the vehicle and began beating this man," Bartley
said. "At some point, he was stabbed.
"The victim apparently did not know the seriousness of his wounds and
kept walking. Had he went somewhere and fell asleep: With this type of
injury he could have died."

Horne Has A Long Rap Sheet
Horne went to his friend, Lukie Feldman, and "bragged" about what
they had done to other people. For Horne, this is not his first felony
crime.
Police said Horne is currently on parole for simple kidnapping and
second-degree battery for his involvement in the 2004 beating and
robbery of another man. He is suspected in a rape case.

Loving Grandparents
Horne was released from jail on bond in 2005 by a Zionist Judge. He
was placed under house arrest for a length of time while living with
his grandparents.

Horne has been booked into Ouachita Correctional Center more than
20 times, but friendly Judges always released them.
