Now Arabs Are Blowing Themselves Up?
GAZA CITY (AFP) — A Palestinian was killed and another 16 were
wounded on Saturday in an early morning explosion at a house owned by a
family in Gaza City. Dr. Muawiya Hassanein, the head of Gaza
emergency services, confirmed the incident, adding that medics had not
yet identified the person who died. Witnesses said the house belonged to
Nadir Abu Shaaban.
The cause of the explosion was not yet known, but several Gazans have
been killed and wounded in recent years by accidental explosions while
constructing or handling crude homemade rockets and other weapons in the
war-torn territory.
