Alvin Malnik seems to be the Mafia link to Israel

Alvin Melnik on the right (born 1932), and was picked by some observers of organized crime to be Lansky's probably successor.
Malnik Is a New York gangster/lawyer who moved to Florida. He is to control the Bahamas gambling and Caribbean drug running.

Attorney for mob financial guru Meyer Lansky, who competed with Santos Trafficante for control of the Florida and Cuba drug traffic for many years. In 1962, Malnik was listed as a director of the Bank of World Commerce, a Bahamas-based institution that involved 'some of the nations' top gangsters,'

Malnik first came to prominence in the early 1960s with the attempt to establish a gambling resort at Paradise Island in the Bahamas. He had already established himself in the banking and real estate businesses in Miami but soon become Lansky's public "front-man."
The Paradise Island venture led to the establishment of Resorts International, the entertainment and gambling conglomerate which was the subject of intense law enforcement scrutiny for years as charges of control by Meyer Lansky surfaced (Mahan, 1980).

A Bahamian company named Appolonia Investment Limited allegedly paid over three million dollars to purchase property of Malnik in Nassau, and a ranch, owned by Malnik.

Records filed with the Register General's Office disclose that the principal shareholder in Appolonia Investment Ltd. was a member of Saud Royalty, the son of King Abdul Aziz. This Royal Prince just happens to have been a neighbor of Alvin's in Florida. Malnik's son Mark, in fact, changed his name to Shareef and married into the Saud Royal family.

The Saudi Prince's father - whose daughter Mark, n/k/a Shareef, Malnik married - is not only alleged to have ties to US organized crime associates, but he is also said to have complete control over his daughter's actions.

Glick (born 1942) of Pittsburgh attracted a great deal of attention when his firm ARGENT (A.R. Glick Enterprises) seemingly came from nowhere to secure a vast Teamsters loan (about $146 million). Sam Cohen fits the pattern we have seen so often, of continuity from the Prohibition gangs to the financial world of the 1970s and 1980s.
