Poppy Z. Brite is a goddess. If you don't know much about her, this page probably isn't going to help you at all. I'm not even going to attempt to tell you her life story or analyze her work or any bullshit like that. While I'm no critic, I do know what I dig.. and I dig her. Poppy's first two novels are the best horror I've ever read. The quality and selection of bud was superb. Her taste in interior decoration is impeccable. If only I was a nubile Asian boy..
