Hello everybody,
I have an Motorola Micro TAC flip phone which I use on the NMT 900 system
here in Norway. When I have this phone in test mode, it looks like this
in the display
0367690000
I have discovered that the first 4 digit in the line is the channel
number in the NMT 900 system, but does anybody know what the rest of the
digits mean ??
The digit 5 and 6 is changing all the time. Can this be RX signal
strenght ?? The digit 7, 8, 9 and 10 show the digit 1 instead of 0 when
a call is made or received. After ending a phone call the digit 8 in the
first line show 1 and the rest shows 0 again.
The displayed digit in the NMT 900 system is not the same as mentioned in
several newsletters in this group regarding such Motorola flip phones
used in the US.
Anybody has an idea or have some more info about this, I would really
appreciate if you e-mail me directly at TALKBACK@ONLINE.NO . Don't
respond in the newsgroup.
Thank's to all and have a nice day
Tom.......
