It made NO DIFFERENCE whether they were FCC type accepted, and some were, or not. The intelligence community simply was not going to by ANYTHING from me. You may read my comments on my NLJDs at http://www.martykaiser.com/nostal~1.htm That aside, I continued experiments on finding non-linear junctions. Here in Baltimore we have two megawatt TV stations, one at roughly 200 MHz and the other at roughly 212 MHz. I thought, why should I build an illuminator when there were already two perfectly good ones in town. I put a tuned loop on the end of a stick, tuned my receiver to the sum of the two signals (412 MHz) and found all the non-linear junctions in my home and plant I could ever want. Listen for the raster buzz. The difference of the two signals (12 MHz) proved useful for locating wires. Give it a try. Marty
