Nimrod MR2 -- not the R1 type. Photographed from my house -- have seen these a lot doing dangerous turns over urban areas when I turn the car and go in an unexpected direction.

Actually with masar radar fins on the tail and no mad boom, it may be an MR2-R1 transition type, an electronic warfare plane of the UK.

This bugger flew 40 minutes in circles low over an urban area. Registered as a light plane flying low for radar calibration. Excuse: the new radar at the airport -- a cover.

It seems mostly over me! -- and where I am. It is visible and so must be covered; he even waved to us subathing in the garden.

Yes there is new radar at the airport, but F18s over Turkey and me has nothing to do with airport radar.
