"Dreamweavers: Child Abuse and Victim Adocacy" will be held at the Wyndham Hotel in Northwest Chicago on 400 Park Boulevard, Itasca, Illinois.

Sponsored by Believe the Children, International Council on Cultism and Ritual Trauma, Mothers Against Sexual Abuse (MASA) and Survivors and Victims Empowered (SAVE).

Co-sponsors: E.C.L.I.P.S.E., Incest Survivors Resource Network International, Mungadze Association P.C., S.M.A.R.T., Survivorship, The Healing Woman Foundation, and VOICES in Action, Inc.

Early Registration: Early registration is STRONGLY advised as enrollment is limited. Registration must be postmarked no later than March 10, 1997.

Full Conference is $250. Luncheon included. This covers Friday, Saturday and Sunday. One-day conference payment is $100. Luncheon included. One day would mean either Friday, Saturday or Sunday only.

Any hotel reservations must be made independently by you, directly to the hotel.

Visual Display: "Shattered Dreams: Bearing Witness to Sexual and Ritual Child Abuse," a visual display sponsored by Believe the Children will be open to the public. The display features pillowcase art and poetry by children and adults. For information contact Believe the Children at (630) 515-5432. The deadline for submitting a pillowcase is March 30, 1997.

Continuing Education: Applications have been filed to make Continuing Education Units available from the Illinois Psychological Association, the Illinois Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Professional Certification Association, Inc., and the State of Illinois Department of Professional Regulation. Certificates of attendance will be available on request for a processing fee of $10.00

Accommodations: All conference presentations and activities will be held at the Wyndham Hotel - Northwest Chicago. The special room rate is $109.00 per night, single or double occupancy; $175.00 - suite. You may reserve your hotel room by calling (630) 773-4000. To obtain the reduced rate you must identify yourself as a "Believe the Children" conference participant. Reservations must be received by the hotel before March 10, 1997, to ensure access to the room block at the conference rate. After March 10, reservations will be accepted on a space available basis only.

Transportation: Transportation to and from O'Hare International Airport is available to guests of the hotel at $15.00 per person each way. Please call the Wyndham Hotel - Northwest Chicago at (630) 773-4000 prior to arrival to arrange for shuttle service. Hotel parking is available at no charge to those traveling by car. Conference sponsors assume no responsibility for air transportation and/or ground arrangements. Conference sponsors cannot assume responsibility for losses or additional expense due to strikes, illness, cancellation of flights or other causes.
