Where to Catch Out in Utah

Ogden

In Ogden you want to get to the old UP station. The yard is right behind it. You can find lots of people at the mission a few blocks further west who will tell you what's going on if you play it cool. Otherwise head for the extreme south end of the yard. Late afternoon, around 4pm is a good time to start watching for out bounds. The yard has a little heat but not much. We sat dead center in plain view waiting and no one bugged us.

SP's Roper Yard in SLC is best avoided.
