Obama Sells Out America And Its Loyal Allies	Gerald Warner says Obama’s foreign policy blundering is now verging on the surreal. When Manuel Zelaya, the socialist president of Honduras, was overthrown, Obama first declared himself "deeply concerned," then denounced the coup as illegal; now, with the support of the Obama White House, the Organization of American States has given Honduras a three-day deadline to reinstate Zelaya. This is madness. Zelaya was unseated by the army, but this was not a military coup. The armed forces were carrying out a decision of the Honduran Supreme Court after it had declared unconstitutional a referendum Zelaya was attempting to hold to extend the length of time he could stay in office. This is a well-known ploy among leftist Latin American leaders in the mould of Hugo Chavez, the Marxist president of Venezuela. By declaring that the Honduran constitution does not permit such a populist coup by the president, the Supreme Court was upholding the rule of law. Zelaya was attempting to subvert it. By removing him, the army upheld the constitution. Does Obama believe he has the power to overrule the US Supreme Court and the American Constitution by extending his period in office by plebiscite? If not, why should the Honduran constitution be disregarded by that country’s president? Zelaya is a Chavez-style leftist, aiming at taking Honduras out of the American sphere of influence and into alliance with Marxist Venezuela. Now it emerges his strongest ally is Obama. This is perverse beyond belief and deeply damaging to America’s interests. I ask again: why does Barack Obama hate America? In answer to the question, "Does Obama believe he has the power to overrule the US Supreme Court and the American Constitution by extending his period in office by plebiscite? -- Absolutely! Obama has repeatedly demonstrated that he holds the US Constitution and US law in low regard.
Obama To Avoid Kenya	Obama says his first trip to Sub-Saharan Africa won't include a stop in his father's Kenyan homeland because of his view that the violence-plagued country still has a long way to go in becoming a free and open democracy. The wags at FreeRepublic.com speculate on the real reasons that Obama won't visit the country of which Obama was a citizen for 18 years (frequent new additions): Someone might spill the beans on which hut Obama was born in. His Communist guerrilla relatives might prove embarrassing. Doesn’t want to be confronted by one of the midwives who helped deliver him. The "Shrine of the Birthing Place" will be shown on TV. There’d be parades, they’d drag him to the shrine where he was hatched, etc. He knows all of his relatives will coming running out, showing pictures of him when he was born. What is not reported in the Fox News article is that the Marxist thug, Raila Odinga, Obama's first cousin, was responsible for unleashing the violence in Kenya when he lost his campaign for the Kenyan presidency in December 2007. Obama actively campaigned for Odinga in Kenya at US taxpayer expense -- a violation of US law -- but it's apparent now that Obama doesn't hold US law in very high esteem.
Obama, Plants And Propaganda	It turns out that the woman at a White House-sponsored healthcare forum who pulled the heartstrings of the media by asking Obama for help in treating her cancer -- as if she were channeling the afflicted who, in the New Testament, besought Jesus of Nazareth for a healing touch -- was an Obama plant. Debby Smith is a member of Organizing for America, a network of volunteers whose mission is to rouse public support for Obama and his political and social agendas; it is also a project of the Democratic National Committee. Smith was invited to the event not by an outside group but by the White House itself. No wonder Obama hugged her. Nowadays all politicians host tightly choreographed public events aimed at promoting their policy preferences but this one is particularly Riefenstahl-esque in its execution. Even veteran White House reporter Helen Thomas (video) thought the taxpayer-funded dog-and-pony show was a bit much. "I’m amazed at you people who call for openness and transparency," said Thomas, a hardcore liberal. She accused the White House of "controlling the press" and said just about all Obama events are "prepackaged." White House press secretary Robert Gibbels was dismissive. "We’ve had this discussion before," he said. "Of course you would because you don’t have any answers," Thomas shot back.
Obama Looks After Obama First And Last	Barack Obama’s admonishments of the American people concerning how it is necessary for them to change their lifestyles, give away more of their money, downsize their living quarters and trade their SUVs for battery-charged golf carts, there is one person who has no intention of doing any of these things, and that is Barack Obama. This is best exemplified by his recent weekend jaunt to New York City with his wife on the taxpayer’s dime. That’s right; he didn’t pay for it; you did. How much did it cost you? The answer is tens of thousands of dollars, according to available estimates. The truth is that while the American taxpayer is being bled, Obama will be living large while he’s in office and after he leaves office. He has no intention of holding himself to the same standards that he is brow-beating the American people into accepting. While you’re driving a golf cart, he’ll be driving a Lincoln Town Car, if they’re still available. While you are living in a cardboard box, he’ll be in a mansion. While you’re sweating out the summers and freezing in the winter because you can’t afford your utility bill, he’ll set his thermostat wherever Michelle Obama tells him to. And while you’re vacationing on your back deck because you can’t afford to go anywhere else, he’ll be jetting to Paris for lunch. Obama’s admiration for dictatorships like those in Cuba, Venezuela, Saudi Arabia and Iran has been misunderstood. It has nothing to do with the conditions under which the citizenry of these countries live. Rather it has everything to do with the lavish lifestyles afforded to their dictators.
