Obama’s Rules Of Engagement |
Don’t
shoot back!
Don’t pick the poppies!
And don’t bother the
women and men in burqas!
These are the new rules of engagement
for leathernecks in Afghanistan.
Sound incredible? They’re true.
Welcome to the modern Marine Corps under Barack Hussein Obama.
On July 1, the U.S. military initiated Operation Khanjar or
"Strike
of the Sword," an invasion of the Helmand Province by 4,000 Marines and
650 Afghan soldiers.
"Strike of the Sword" represents the first
military operation to be ordered by Obama. The purpose of the campaign
is to flush out Taliban operatives from southern Afghanistan in order to
safeguard the re-election of Afghan President Hamid Karzai on August 20.
The military initiative is being conducted by the insistence of Kharzai,
who fears that a strong Taliban presence will produce unfavorable
results for him on election-day.
To accomplish this objective,
Obama remains determined to deploy 68,000 additional U.S.
troops to southern Afghanistan within the next six weeks.
But
the Marines, thanks to Obama, are conducting this mission with their
hands tied.
The first order from America’s new faux-commander is that
the Marines must not return enemy fire for fear of killing an Afghan
non-combatant.
ABC Correspondent Mike Boettcher, who is embedded
with Golf Company, reports that the young Marines, when ambushed by
Taliban forces with automatic weapons, were ordered to shoulder their
rifles. Their command, Boettcher writes, warned them that "one
civilian casualty could negate the No. 1 objective of this operation --
winning the trust and respect of the farmers of the Helmand River
Valley."

One More Communist |
Obama's newly appointed "Green" Czar, was as an
admitted radical communist and black nationalist leader.
Van
Jones, president and founder of Green For All, a nonprofit organization
that advocates for building a so-called inclusive green economy, has
been tapped to serve as the special adviser for green jobs, enterprise
and innovation at the White House Council on Environmental Quality. According to the White House blog, Jones' duties will include helping to
craft job-generating climate policy and ensuring equal opportunity in
the administration's energy proposals.
While in jail in San
Francisco in 1992, Jones said, "I met all these young radical people of
color -- I mean really radical, communists and anarchists. And it was,
like, 'This is what I need to be a part of.' I spent the next ten years
of my life working with a lot of those people I met in jail, trying to
be a revolutionary. In the months that followed, he let go of any
lingering thoughts that he might fit in with the status quo. I was a
rowdy nationalist on April 28th, and then the verdicts came down on
April 29th," he said. "By August, I was a communist."
Jones,
formerly a self-described "rowdy black nationalist," boasted in a 2005
interview that his environmental activism was a means to fight for
racial and class "justice."
"I'll work with
anybody. I'll fight anybody if it will push our issues forward," he told
the left-leaning East Bay Express in a 2005 interview. "I'm willing to
forgo the cheap satisfaction of the radical pose for the deep
satisfaction of radical ends."

Obama Fears The Foreign Press |
Breaking -- At 7
AM, Fox News reporter, Major Garrett, reported that Obama has banned the
foreign press from his press conference today in Italy. The
foreign press is furious.
It is clear to me that Obama is afraid
that he will not be able to manage the foreign press like he does the
fawning sycophants in the American press corps.
Did you know that
reporters from roughly 30 television networks, newspapers, magazines,
and web sites
celebrated the Fourth of July with Barack Obama at the White House
last weekend?
Why didn't you know that? Because they were
sworn to secrecy.

Obama Will Repeal Medicare |
Obama’s health care proposal is, in
effect, the repeal of the Medicare program as we know it. The elderly
will go from being the group with the most access to free medical care
to the one with the least access. Indeed, the principal impact of the
Obama health care program will be to reduce sharply the medical services
the elderly can use. No longer will their every medical need be met,
their every medication prescribed, their every need to improve their
quality of life answered.
It is so ironic that the elderly -- who
were so vigilant when Bush proposed to change Social Security -- are so
relaxed about the Obama health care proposals. Bush’s Social Security
plan, which did not cut their benefits at all, aroused the strongest
opposition among the elderly. But Obama’s plan, which will totally gut
Medicare and replace it with government-managed care and rationing, has
elicited little more than a yawn from most senior citizens.
It’s
time for the elderly to wake up before it is too late!

Audacity Of Nope |
The federal government's
most secure prison has determined that two books written by Barack Obama contain material "potentially detrimental to national
security" and rejected an inmate's request to read them.
Ahmed
Omar Abu Ali is serving a 30-year sentence at the federal supermax
prison in Florence, Colorado, for joining al-Qaida and plotting to
assassinate then-President George W. Bush. Last year, Abu Ali requested
two books written by Obama: "Dreams from My Father" and "The Audacity of
Hope."
But prison officials, citing guidance from the FBI,
determined that passages in both books contain information that could
damage national security.

Obama's Outreach Called A Fraud |
The Lid blog reports that over
the course of his tenure, Obama has not only shown a disdain for the War
Against Islamic Terrorists (also known as the War Against People Who
Create Man-Made Disasters), but Obama has shown a total disregard for
those who lost family members to acts of terror.
Back in
February, Obama upset the families of the USS Cole victims when he
stopped the military commissions that were going to try the
terrorists:
Retired Navy Cmdr. Kirk Lippold -- the Cole's
commanding officer when it was bombed in Yemen in 2000 -- was among a
dozen people who met with Obama and have been angered by the decision.
"I was certainly disappointed with the decision to delay the
military commissions process," Lippold told reporters before the
meeting. "We have already waited eight years."
Another
victim's family member Debra Burlingame said this about that February
meeting:
We'd been had.
Binyam Mohamed -- the
al Qaeda operative selected by Khalid Sheikh Mohammed (KSM) for a
catastrophic post-9/11 attack with co-conspirator Jose Padilla -- was
released 17 days later. In a follow-up conference call, the White
House liaison to 9/11 and Cole families refused to answer questions
about the circumstances surrounding the decision to repatriate Mohamed,
including whether he would be freed in Great Britain.
The phrase
"swift and certain justice" had been used by top presidential adviser
David Axelrod in an interview prior to our meeting with the president.
"Swift and certain justice" figured prominently in the White House press
release issued before we had time to surrender our White House security
passes. "At best, he manipulated the families," Kirk Lippold,
commanding officer of the USS Cole at the time of the attack and the
leader of the Cole families group, told me recently. "At worst, he
misrepresented his true intentions."
Two weeks ago, the
Obama's team invited the families to voice their concerns and opinions
about securing justice for their loved ones, and just like the February
meetings the family representatives felt that they were being fed a load
of hooey by the Obama Administration.
The New Majority
interviewed some of the attendees -- their responses are

Kapi'olani Hospital Scrubs Their Website |
What
a difference a day makes. Just yesterday, I posted a
page (cursor down) from the Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women and Children that featured a letter
from the White House affirming the hospital as Obama's birthplace (see next item).
Well, today, the letter is
gone[KapiolaniNow.mht - MISSING] -- scrub-a-dub-dub!
Why would they remove the letter? This
is getting absurd. |
