Final page: Conclusions
The Litt-Man admits that the
charges that drove Kevin underground were largly fabricated.
To Jon, these false charges were:
A moral outrage
An intolerable abuse
of Governmental power
An egregious waste
of taxpayer dollars
An opportunity for
Kevin to go straight
In his epilogue, The Litt-Man draws
on his journalistic insight to reach the following conclusion:
The Government
shouldn't try to frame someone for espionage, no matter how many
radio station contests he won
By daring to
criticize the Government for its crimes, Kevin proves that he has
no remorse for his own
The corporations
that paid Justin Petersen to wiretap countless innocent people,
and which are still operating to this day with total impunity,
represent a serious threat to all our privacy
The Government
deliberately ignores, and tacitly encourages, Pacific Bell
Security's policy of criminal perjury
