XPLORER.EXE This DOS utility allows frequencies and hits captured by the Xplorer(tm) to be downloaded to a PC. The resulting output file is compatible with the SPECTRUM for the SCOUT FCC Master Frequency Database by PerCon Corporation. It allows frequencies captured by the Xplorer(tm) to be compared against FCC licenced commercial users in the United States by city and state. Results can then be exported to PROBE for computer-aided scanning. Note: Xplorer.EXE will only down load frequency and numbers of hits. In order to down load the entire Xplorer memory contents with all fields of data, extract and run the demo version of Radio Manager for Windows included on this utility diskette. If you purchase the Percon Corp. GEO_DB for the Xplorer, additional download support is included in that program. The Xplorer(tm) INTERFACE must be set for CI-5 COMMAND from CONFIG mode. Also, the BAUD RATE and CI-5 ADDRESS settings of the Xplorer(tm) must be the same as those in XPLORER.EXE. DOS USERS On slower computers, data loss during the download may occurr at higher data rates. If this occurrs, try a lower data rate.
