Trunking Digital Signals Decoding

Screen Shots for Trunker, Etrunk, and Others

Trunker v3.8.1 - Tracking a Motorola Type II Smartnet System

This is a screen shot of the Trunker application analyzing the control channel for the City of Fort Worth TX Public Safety Type II Smartnet system.  This screen shot was taken during the April Tornado that came through downtown Ft Worth, and you can notice that the system was very busy when this screen shot was taken.  Note at the bottom of the screen the application logging the radio affiliations to talkgroups.   This is helpful because is shows what talkgroup a specific radio just changed to.

Trunker - Tracking a Motorola Type I System

This is a screen shot of the Trunker application decoding the control channel for the City of Arlington TX Motorola Type I system.  This screen shot was taken when the Tornado that hit Ft Worth was coming through the City of Arlington.  Note how trunker displays fleets and subfleets as opposed to Type II talkgroups.  Each system monitored by trunker can have a fleetmap associated with it, thus allowing the application to properly decode the Type I Fleets and Subfleets.   Note the definition of the fleetmap in the "Type:" field at the top of the screen.

Etrunk.exe - Tracking an Ericsson EDACS system

This is a screen shot of the Etrunk application decoding the control channel from the City of Irving TX Ericsson EDACS system.  This is a relatively new system in the Dallas Ft. Worth Area, and Etrunk does an excellent job of tracking this system and driving a BC-895 to follow the conversations.
