We just saw someone download this who was running FreeBSD 3.3. Some porting may be required, since we are still learning how to write configure scripts and how to get our code to run cross-platform. If you get this code to work, please e-mail us.
This library and API has only been tested on select operating systems running on certain hardware platforms. There are some cavets when using it on even different installations (distributions) of Linux. If you have any questions as to the portability of the project please consider contacting us and we will work with you the ability to port this application to your OS.
In an email if something doesnt compile dont just send us: ``it wont compile...' or ``it bombed out at...'' We need to know what type of system you are running, what your default locations for the various tools necessary to build the API are. We are busy people (urm, last i checked, we had lives and stuff...) so dont expect a reply right away... but definitely within about 24-48 hours.
