This version adds support for uploading and downloading Search Ranges, Conventional Channels, Trunked Frequencies, System Type, Fleetmaps, Scan Lists, AlphaTags, Beep Alert and more. Also added is long file name support. This self-extracting file includes a ton of trunked radio system data for the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Other than the nag screen, this is a fully functional shareware version. If you like it, and keep using, please register. The price is $15.00. I recommend unzipping the files into an empty directory, especially if you have been using a previous version of Trunk Manager.

What is Trunk Manager for Windows?
Trunk Manager is a database program designed specifically for storing, sorting, searching, and printing information on trunked radio systems. Trunk Manager stores most of its information in talkgroup files composed of channels representing radio talkgroups or channels. Each record or channel has the following fields. Now you can upload and download to the Uniden BC296D, BC796D, BC780XLT, BC245XLT, BC895XLT, BC250D, and Pro-2052!

Field	Use
System	Denotes what radio system the channel is associated with.
Talkgroup	The talkgroup ID or fleet-subfleet ID for the channel.
Channel Name	The name of the channel that is commonly used to describe the channel. Usually it's the same as what is displayed on the actual two-way radio.
User	The name of the city, business, or department that uses the channel.
Class	The type of service that is using the channel. For example, "Police", "EMS", "Fire", "Public Works", etc.
Service	Specific information about how this channel is used. For example, "Talk", "Operations", "AMA", "Sewer Stoppages", etc.
Notes	Notes for this channel. For example, "simulcast on 484.2125", "rarely used", etc.
Bank	The bank or "ScanList" where this channel is stored in a radio.
Channel	The channel where this channel is stored in the radio's ScanList.
Lockout	Denotes whether this channel is locked out while scanning.
Date	Use to store a date. You may want enter the last date you heard the channel used, or the first, etc.
Custom Text	Used however you want to store text.
Custom Number	Used however you want to store a number.
Custom Logic	Used however you want to mark the channel. You may want to mark channels for various reasons. For example, to hide channels, to denote that the information may not be verified, etc.

Radio Manager for Windows uses the files you create in Trunk Manager for look-ups when in the Uniden Bearcat BC245XLT/BC895XLT Virtual Key Pad window. Check out Radio Manager for details. Now Radio Manager can even upload Frequencies, Trunked System Type, Fleetmaps, Scan Lists, Lockouts, and Priorities based on information in your Trunk Manager files (depending on your scanner's capabilities).
Save your data as a TRUNKER.EXE 3.X *GRP.TXT File for use with that cool program. You'll be able to see channel names along side the talkgroup IDs the program displays.
Import data from text files including TRUNKER.EXE 3.X *GRP.TXT files and UFDBF files for frequencies.
AFS/Hexadecimal/Decimal Conversion Window.
Mass Change for quickly editing batches of records including converting between AFS, Decimal, and AFS formats.

Download Trunk Manager 2003 for Windows Unregistered Version (tmunzip.exe) 1069kb. This is a self-extracting compressed file. Download the file and run it to unzip the program in the directory of your choice. Requires Windows 95 or higher.

Download my Trunk Manager for Windows data for the Dallas/Fort Worth Texas Area (tmdfw.exe 112KB 4/1/2002), includes Talkgroups, Systems, Frequencies, Users, and Classes. Unzip in your existing Trunk Manager directory. WARNING: This will overwrite your existing System, Frequency, User, and Class databases, but you can deselect/select using the WinZip self extractor(choose Run WinZip).
