INTRODUCTION

Your new RadioShack PRO-25 100-Channel Portable Scanner lets you in on all
the action! This scanner gives you direct access to over 29,000 exciting
frequencies that include police and fire departments and ambulance,
amateur radio, and transportation services. You can select up to 100
channels to scan and you can change your selection at any time.

The secret to your scanner's ability to scan so many frequencies is its
custom-designed microprocessor - a tiny, built-in computer. Your scanner
also has these special features:

HyperScan - scans 50 channels per second and searches 100
                             frequencies per second.

Two-Second Scan Delay - delays scanning for two seconds before moving
to another channel so you can hear more
                             replies.

Lock-Out Function - keeps channels you select from being scanned.

Priority Channel - checks a channel you select every 2 seconds
so you don't miss important calls.

Weather Band Key - scans seven preprogrammed weather frequencies
so you can hear about current weather
                             conditions.

Frequency Search - lets you find every available frequency.

Ten Channel-Storage - lets you store 10 channels in each of 10
Banks banks to group frequencies so you can easily
                             identify calls.

Monitor Memories - lets you temporarily save up to 10-channels
you locate during a frequency search.

Display Backlight - makes the scanner easy to read in dimly-lit
                             areas.

Flexible Antenna with - provides excellent reception and is designed
BNC Connector to help prevent antenna breakage.

Memory Backup - keeps the channel frequencies stored in
memory for up to 1 hour during a power loss.
