This charger is designed to work best with Eveready "Quick Charging"
Rechargeable Nickel-Cadmium batteries.  You can charge up to 8 AA, AAA,
C or D size batteries in pairs or up to 4 "9 Volt" size batteries.

Just 4 steps!

1.  Plug cord from power adapter into charger's power jack on side of unit.

2.  Plug power adapter into ordinary household outlet (standard 120 volt AC,
    60 Hz).

3.  Load batteries in charger with positive (+) end towards the cover hinge,
    two batteries per channel.  (Match the plus (+) signs on the batteries
    with the plus (+) signs on the charger channels.  (For "9 volt" size,
    snap onto contacts.)  To charge two different cell sizes at one time,
    use different channels for each size.  Must use two batteries of the
    same cell size in one channel at a time.

    CAUTION:  Improper loading can cause permanent battery damage.  Follow
              instructions carefully.

4.  Close lid.  Glowing red indicator light means batteries are properly
    loaded and charging.  Red indicator light should be on for each loaded
    channel.  If red indicator light does not come on, check the following:

      Check to insure power adapter is properly plugged into ordinary house-
      hold outlet and the other end into the charger;

      Plus (+) signs on batteries match plus (+) signs in channels;

      Different battery sizes are not mixed within individual channels;

      Batteries are properly seated in channels so that the metal tab is in
      contact with the end of the battery.

CAUTION:  (1)  Charger will feel warm when charging batteries.
          (2)  When charging batteries, do not place anything on top of the
               charger.
          (3)  This charger should be operated in room temperatures above 50
               degrees F and below 80 degrees F.
