INSTALLING THE BATTERIES

You need two AAA batteries (not supplied) to power your microphone.  We
recommend alkaline batteries, such as Cat. No. 23-555.

1.  Push the tab on the battery compartment cover in the direction of the
    arrow, then lift off the cover.

2.  Install the batteries as indicated by the polarity symbols (+ and -)
    marked inside the compartment.

3.  Replace the cover.

When the BATT. LOW indicator lights, replace the batteries.

Note:  The BATT. LOW indicator lights briefly when you release the switch
       on the microphone's side.

MOUNTING THE CLIP HANGER

You can hang the microphone on your CB's existing mounting bracket, or use
the supplied clip hanger and screws.

To mount the clip hanger, use it as a template and drill two holes at the
desired locations on the vehicle's dashboard.  Then use the supplied
screws to mount the clip hanger on the dashboard.

CAUTION:  Be sure not to drill into objects behind the dashboard.

CONNECTING THE MICROPHONE

Plug your microphone's 5-pin connector into your transmitting device's
plug.
