Use only the charger specified for this battery.  Before using the battery
pack, please read instructions.

1.  Charge before using battery

    The battery is not sold in a charged condition.  To charge the
    battery, refer to the instructions included with the charger.

2.  Set Rotator Switch

    The battery contact on the camcorder side must be rotated to fit a
    SONY style (S+) or Panasonic style (P+) system, depending on the type
    of camcorder used.

WARNING:  Rotator MUST snap into "S+" or "P+" position, NOT anywhere in
          between.  Failure to comply may cause poor battery performance
          and/or battery pack may lock permanently to camcorder.

SONY System

Push the button (marked with arrow) and align the "S+" with the /\
indicator mark.

Panasonic System

Push the button and align the "P+" with the /\ indicator mark.

3.  Using the Charge Indicator Switch

    Note the charge indicator switch on the top edge of the battery pack.
    This is a manually operated switch to remind the user of which
    batteries need to be charged.  When the battery is exhausted, slide
    the switch so that the circle appears.  After charging, slide the
    switch so that the circle is no longer visible.
