INSTALLING THE BRACKET

1.  Screw the spring coil section of the antenna onto the threads of the
    magnetic base.

    Note:  Do not remove the foil covering from the bottom of the base.
           The foil protects your vehicle's finish and helps ground the
           antenna.

2.  Position the antenna on the vehicle's roof, over the trunk lid, or on
    any convenient flat area on the vehicle.

    Note:  For the best operation, we recommend mounting the antenna in
           the center of the roof.

3.  Route the coaxial cable into the vehicle. If you route cable through a
    door opening, use cloth tape to secure it to the door frame.

    Note:  Cable is not normally harmed by the opening and closing of
           windows and doors, but occasionally inspect the cable to be
           sure it is not crushed or deformed.

4.  Route the coaxial cable to the CB and connect it to the CB's antenna
    connector.

CAUTION:  The cable is the proper length for peak performance.  Shortening
          it might degrade the antenna's performance.
