Your RadioShack Nickel Cadmium (Ni Cd) and Nickel Metal Hydride (Ni MH) AA
Battery Charger is designed to charge two or four batteries of a single
type (such as RadioShack Cat. No. 23-125, 23-149, or 23-525).

Its features include:

Two Charging Indicators -- an indicator lights during charging for each
  battery type, and turns off when charging is complete.

Reverse Polarity Protection -- protects the charger and batteries against
  damage from incorrectly installed batteries.

Automatic Timer Shut-Off -- turns off the charger to prevent overcharging
  the batteries.
